Events Group 

In 2010, 2012 and 2014, the village organised the Killearn Hoolie – a ten-day celebration of village life including the first Killearn Beer Festival and 10K run (now successful separate events held annually in June), community events such as street football, a fête and a gala dance in a marquee on the Glebe.

 

That subsequently morphed into Hoolie Dances in the Village Hall and, more recently, a very popular Burns Night.

 

The structure still exists for anyone who would like to organise an event for the community – do get in touch.
